This is just a small part of a larger section where Acorn has dug away 6 inches of dirt and scratched/chewed the bottom of the fence in a frenzy to reach cats on the other side. I have since sealed this area off with boards and bricks.

Didn't know she was doing this until one night we couldn't find her. Eventually I went behind the shed with a flashlight and found her standing in front of the eaten fence, her face/legs caked in dirt. She looked half ashamed, half crazy.

This dog has a great life. Very loved, warm and overfed. Funny that she's working on an escape, and probably gonna get her one remaining eye scratched out by an alley cat when she does.
