I happened to look at the obituaries today at lunchtime. And
ya know, seems like nearly every single obituary has a professional studio picture of the deceased, no matter what age they were. One guy today was my age, and he had one. If I were to die tomorrow, the only studio photo I have is my high school senior pic, and some taken when I was under 8 years old or so.

I was just curious as to whether most adults have a professional picture made now and then. I won't.  Not that I need one --- I don't want my picture or an obit in the paper. Ever.  If my family were to not listen and post something anyway, I want them to use a picture of a frog or an old hat or something.
